On September 28, Track Palin was arrested during a domestic violence incident. Track Palin has been thrown into the spotlight several times due to his mother’s political popularity. His mom, Sarah Palin, was the former Republican vice-presidential candidate and former governor of Alaska.
Now, 29-year-old Track is making headlines again after being arrested by Alaska State Troopers. He is facing charges including disorderly conduct, fourth-degree domestic violence assault and resisting arrest. Late on Friday, troopers were called out to Track’s residence when they were informed about an ongoing assault on a female. The call occurred at around 10:30 P.M. in Wasilla. The female reached out to authorities for help. When they arrived, the victim told police that Track had confiscated her cell phone when she tried to contact authorities. The victim is not being named publicly.
The 29-year-old Army veteran allegedly attempted to flee to avoid being arrested, but this decision only resulted in an increase in charges. According to officers on scene, Track was physically resisting. This arrest marks the third time Track has been charged with domestic violence in less than three years.
Last year, Track was arrested when he reportedly threw his own father to the floor. He continued to hit his father in the head until his father was covered in blood. At the time, Sarah Palin told police that her son was “freaking out and was on some type of medication.” Again in 2016, Track was arrested for domestic violence for allegedly physically fighting with his girlfriend. At the time, he was also charged with possessing a weapon while intoxicated and interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime. The victim in this situation told authorities that Track had punched her in the face.
Track Palin is currently being detained at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility without bail.
