USA Today reports that a New York judge has ruled a 30-year-old man must move out of his parents’ home. Mark and Christina Rotondo had to sue their son, Michael, after repeatedly trying to evict him from their home. They want him to get a place of his own, get a job and take his vehicle with him. They even say they offered financial help to get him moved. According to them, he has never paid them rent or financially contributed to the household in any way.

Michael told the judge he needed an additional six months to leave the home, and refused to address his parents directly in court. The judge said this request was “outrageous.” He then told the parents’ attorney to draft an eviction letter for them.

Michael plans to appeal the decision, and told media outlets that he has a business to support himself – but refused to elaborate.
