Former MTV Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham has maintained a very large media presence throughout the years for her increasingly erratic behavior. In the early hours of June 13, she made headlines again for a run-in with the Beverly Hills Police Department that left her in handcuffs.
The starlet was allegedly vacationing at the Beverly Hills Hotel when an altercation broke out between her and other guests at the hotel. A nearby security officer noticed the verbal altercation and approached the patrons. He asked the group to disperse and the patrons to disengage from their heated conversation.
The security guard reported that Abraham refused to cooperate with the hotel staff member’s demands. She continued yelling, so she was asked to vacate the building. At that point, Abraham reportedly became more aggressive. The security guard reports the suspect hit his face with her forearm before forcefully pinching his ear. She attempted to push the officer’s face as he blocked her from re-entering the building. During this altercation, other hotel staff members called the police.
Authorities from the Beverly Hills Police Department arrived. They immediately noticed that Abraham appeared to be intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with battery and trespassing. Abraham was briefly held in the Beverly Hills Jail before being released on a $500 bail.
After her release, Abraham denied any wrongdoing and says the entire incident was blown out of proportion. TMZ was able to obtain video footage of the star’s interaction with police where she can be heard verbally attacking the officers for searching her bag.
