NBC News reports that a suspected serial killer may be responsible for at least 90 murders. Samuel Little was recently convicted of murdering three California women and charged for another woman’s murder in Texas. Police think he could be connected to over 90 murders that span three decades and a dozen or more states.
Little, 78, has given investigators details on murders he may have been involved with from 1970 to 2005 in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Illinois, Ohio, California, Indiana, Arizona, New Mexico and South Carolina. He is currently being held in the Wise County Jail in Texas.
If convicted of the murders Little has provided details about, he will be considered one of the most “prolific serial killers in U.S. history.” He is currently serving three life sentences for the strangling deaths of women in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1989. Those convictions happened in 2014. He was later charged with the 1994 murder of Denise Brothers in Texas, and he was extradited from California.
